I have an old computer that dosen't allow me to change the boot order.
Forgive me, but I'm trying to run Knoppix, and I can't think of any
other way than maybe modifying the boot.ini. Is it possible to point
to a CD-Rom and if so is it just the next logical disk in the chain?
Thanks for any response.

Perhaps it is time to upgrade your BIOS.

I will be surprised if you can run WinXP but you can't bootup from
CD-Rom. Winxp requires at least PIII and it can boot up from CDs.
