Open your Device manager.
In the details pane, click the plus sign to the left of
Universal Serial Bus controllers.
If the word "Enhanced" is included in any of the listed
controllers, your computer has USB 2.0 controller drivers
installed.
Check your motherboard's User's Guide for information
on how to enable USB enhanced mode in your BIOS.

Look at the motherboard guide. This should tell you.
If you have installed an add on card then I would look at this
documentation. Once this has been figured out I would diagram it and stick
it on the inside cover of the case so that you do not have to research this
topic again. And, just a tip - for those motherboards that come with a
sticker I always make sure to place the sticker on the inside of the case so
that everything is readily available to me when I need it.
