Hello,

I use USB memory sticks for backup. I wonder if I should be using SD cards ?
My PC has slots for both. I have used SD cards in my camera, but never in my
pc.

Does anyone know how they compare in terms of speed and cost per gigabyte ?

Thanks

K

I wouldn't rely to much on USB sticks.
I burned several already, loosing some data.
I now rely mostly on DVD's.

I'd have thought reliabilty was more important.
Cheap memory sticks are no place to keep backups either.

If it's price per gigabyte you're looking for then you should be looking
at an external drive.

Depending on the current sale...

USB has the advantage of being portable to most computers. SD readers
are less common.
