USB Unplug problem

After successfully ejected a usb thumbdrive, the unplug icon is still at the
system tray? what is wrong?

Uhm, probably nothing.
 
After unplugging , the unplug icon should disappear, else system will prompt
a message stating that
"You have unplugged or ejected a device without stopping it.
Unplugging or ejecting devices without first stopping them can
often cause your computer to crash and lose valuable data."

I don't have mine with me but I'm certain it does the same with no ill
effects.
