Hi all. When i plug in my usb thumb drive into my windows xp pc, the thumb
drive could not be detected, not even in disk management. However i believe
the usb port should be alright as the led on my thumb drive is lighted up.
Device manager also do not show any exclaimation mark. How can i check or
solve this? Thks in advance.

What happens if you connect the thumb drive into another system? Is your
thumb drive a usb 1.0 or 2.0? Are you connecting the thumb drive directly to
the pc or into a usb chain? Also state which brand/model of a thumb drive you
have? You probably need to install specific drivers on this thumb drive.

Let us know so we can help you further.

GLuck!

Hi Delbert. The thumb drive could work on other pc. No thumb drives could
work on this particular win xp pc. In windows xp i think there is no issue
whether the drive is 1.0 or 2.0 right. I connect the thumb drive directly to
my pc.
