USB question

I have a 5 port USB card in my computer and one of the ports in internal...
I'd like to install a card reader in the front of my system and hook it to
this internal port on the card. Is there any sort of converter cable that
goes from a male to internal header port?

I've looked in the usual places I order but can't seem to find one.

I looked here, because I know they stock all sorts of weird stuff.

The CPX505 looks like you get a standard external USB on one
end, and "half a header" or one channel on the other end. As
long as the card reader only needs one channel, this will work.

A 2x5 header, has two USB channels on it. Sometimes, only one
of them is being used. Or one channel goes to the card reader
chip, and the other channel feeds extension ports on the
front of the reader. If you only have a one channel cable, then
you have to decide whether to connect the card reader chip,
or the extension ports on the front. Depending on which side of
the 2x5 you connect up. So you need some documents about your
card reader, to understand how the header is used.

This Rosewill PCI card has a 2x5 header, but the chip used is a VIA VT6212L.
It is a four port chip. Two ports on the faceplate, leaving
two ports wired to the 2x5 header. So this is another way
to get two ports on your 2x5. If your card reader comes with
a 2x5 to 2x5 cable, then you wouldn't need the services of Frontx,
by using this card.
