Usb Problem

My USB 4-port hub connect to the USB on my computer frequently seems to stop
and then resume with every periphial working when resumed. Any ideas? Is the
machine monitoring for some reason?

Not enough power to the hub ?
 
Don, is your USB Hub Powered. If not, it may be overtaxing the Power
Supply. Too
many Devices??
