USB Problem-Recognized Hardware but Can't find it

When I plug my usb key-storage device, my compute says that it recognizes the
hardware, but when I go to My Computer to look up the drive, it does not
appear. Can someone please help me with this?

Right Click My Computer, choose manage, you should see it there. You may
need to check that XP has not given it a drive letter that is normally
associated with another drive, if it has right click the USB drive and
change it's drive letter.
