Hi,
I just reinstalled Windows XP through SP2 & all updates, after reformating
my C; drive. I also have a new Canon IP4300D printer. The printer isn't
completing the install becuase it isn't seeing the USB printing support in
Windows, and apparently Windows isn't creating it. I have confirmed that the
files reside in the i386 folder, but the install isn't completing. The rest
of the USB related drivers are reisding in my device manager. How do I
correct this? I need to print!
Thanks!
Sue

Sue, try disconnecting the Printer. Uninstall any Printer Software.
Restart and reinstall the Printer Software. Connect the
Printer when told to do so or after the software has been installed.

Thanks Rich, I just finished doing that, including the most current driver,
and it isn't properly installing. It gets all the way to the point of
selecting the printer port then stops. I have tried selecting it manually
but USB printer port isn't presented.
Thanks for your continuing help!
Sue
