I want to illiminate users from connecting USB devices, namely hard drives,
to their computers.

How can I do this without removing access to all drives?

Or, how can I restrict all drives, except for their own home diretory on the
network?

I have been looking into the same issue. The best thing that I can find
that can be controlled by a Group Policy is described in the link below
under Controlling block storage devices on USB buses. 1. You must be on
Windows XP Sp2 and 2. all it will do is prevent writing to the device. The
user can still pull information off the drive.

Other than that you are looking at a 3rd party utility. Here is one I
found, but I do not know anything about.

Good luck and if you find a better solution, please email me.
