USB not recognized

I have 4 USB ports on the back of my motherboard. They all work for
mouse/keyboard, mp3 players, cameras......
But when I plug in my Dell Axim cradle there is no contact. I use the cradle
to sync with Activesync.
I have reinstalled all USB drivers but still there is no recongision. I have
about this issue and it seems to be a common problem for some with joysticks
too.

Try installing the chipset installation utility for youre board,get this from
the boards hardware mfg (Intel,AMD,etc)....
