usb flash drive

i have a new belkin 128mb flash drive after useing it the
first time after taking the drive out windows now
displays that drive letter as a dvd drive. i have
uninstalled the "dvd" drive several times, but it keeps
coming back. in addition each time i use the flash drive
i get a new drive letter and after removing it i get
another nonexistent drive... how do i fix this?

Reassiged it to another drive leter it thru Disk
