USB flash drive

I just read a similar thread on this, I seem to have the same problem. I
have not used USB features before.

I plugged in a new USB drive.

Does it have a definite orientation, or is the connector designed for
either direction?

My hard drive has partitions through J, the CD drive is K.

The real issue- I don't see the flash card in Explorer, or in Device
Manager.

How to enable it in W2K/SP4?

Normally it will be autoinstalled, search for new hardware and maybe your
device needs special drivers for 2000.

Normally it will be autoinstalled, search for new hardware and maybe
your device needs special drivers for 2000.

But go into device manager first and confirn that your USB port is
actually active and working.
