USB Flash drive crashes Windows

When I connect a particular USB flash drive to my Windows XP Media Center
laptop it crashes with the Blue Screen of Death and gives error
"BAD_POOL_HEADER"
Other USB drives work fine.

Any ideas???

Does this drive work OK in other computers or does it crash them also? If
it crashes other computers, it's time for the trash as there is likely a
hardware fault in the device. If it doesn't crash other computers see
below.

"Bad Pool Header" can be caused by a lot of different things. We need the
stop codes that appear with the BSOD to help more.
