Usb External Hard Drive

HI,

my os xp pro sp2 i have problem to my external hard drive 80 gb ,2 partition inside, when i click every hard drive logo the will show that select which program. but if i choice and go to the explore it will open , why like this the cant open immediately when you click directly. what setting i will use to this...
