How does this happen? One USB HD, 120 Maxtor labeled "G" and formatted with
W98, is visible on the task bar on XP machine but will not show up in
Explorer.

Another drive "D" is an 80G, also formatted with the same W98 machine works
just fine on both.

Why is the first one not visible in Explorer. I can't copy files to the new
120G this way. :-(

Thanks

I'm wondering if my problem isn't the system itself. It's an older IBM and
it won't even recognize the drive when installed into the machine. It does
find a second drive attached on boot up but it is nowhere to be found in
windows.

Machine type: 659134U
Bios: 06/16/00
