hi all ive a win xp 128 etc ive a usb driver 5.1 2600
giving me 500ma ive been told that to get broadband i need
to update driver to get over 500ma how if you know ty

Broadband unaffected by usb driver; thats not to say a usb modem isnt.

If you can, always try to request a Ethernet (RJ-45) based broadband modem
unit. This will allow you to install a gateway router later, if you want to
add more PCs to your area.
