USB drive says insert a disk into drive

I have 2 8GB USB drives that were working ok. Now one of them gives me the
message Insert a disk into drive when I select it. The other one is working
OK. I have noticed that the good one is listed in device manager at a USB
drive and the bad one is listed as USBest drive.

How can I get access to the drive?

I would test the problem drive on a different PC.
