Hi all, I have an ASTONE 256mb - 80x speed usb memory drive, which works fine
in my computer when I plug it into the usb ports on the back of the computer,
when I plug it into the usb ports on the front of my pc case, the device is
not always recognised, and sometimes when it is, and i try to copy files to
it, I get drive can not be found errors, any ideas ?

It sounds like the cable(s) between the usb port(s) on the motherboard (or
USB card) are the likely culprit. This may be due to routing inside the case
(noise pickup) porr connections, or even a situation where the front ports
need to be used as USB 1 not 2.
It also may be that the memory drive cannot "drive" the cable, and must be
connected via a shorter path to the USB port chip.
