USB Devices dont resume after standby mode.

Hi,
The USB deives dont seem to function after resuming from
standby mode in win2K SP4.The laptop is an IBM T41.They
need to be insatalled again.

This is usually an indication of outdated drivers that don't support
standby/resume. See if you can get updated drivers for your USB drives.

USB won't read after standby in laptop

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem. My USB zip drive doesn't register after my Toshiba laptop has been in standby mode. The only solution is to reset or turn off and then on again.

A bubble appears from the Start menu saying that the USB device has malfunctioned or is "not recognised", regardless of the fact there is nothing plugged in. Suffice to say, when I try to plug the zip drive in the laptop doesn't read it or recognise that there is anything plugged in at all.

The main difference is: I'm using Windows XP.

Any ideas?
