usb device not recognized

My usb devices have been working just great, but then i did the latest
updates for windows, and now they don't work. I plug in a device and a
bubble comes up saying "USB device not recognized" I click on the bubble, and
all it says is to try and replug in the device, or replace it. when i have
my mp3 player plugged in, it is charging, but I am not able to see it in "my
computer"

Try to reinstall the drivers for whatever device you're using, that's
if you have the CD. If not then you should be able to find them from
the manufacturer of the device.
