usb and lexar jump drive problems

Hi, at first I would plug the jumpdrive into the front
USB port and the computer would not recognize it with out
restarting. at which time it worked fine, the jumpdrive
that is. Several days later I tried it again, when I went
to "my computer" there was the drive, it was given the
letter "f". but when I went to open it the computer
froze, until I removed the jump drive. It seems like it
is a conflict but I haven't found out with what. Any
sugestions would be appreciated

Jeff, I don't know the answer to your problem, but I do know that the Lexar
Jumpdrive works great on the three XP machines I have used it on.

did this device come with disk driver. might try disk.
