Lexar Jumpdrive & Windows Explorer

JS84T

I recently got a Lexar USB Jumpdrive. This unit works
great on my home system. Once plugged into the USB hub
Windows Explorer sees it as a LEXAR JUMPDRIVE in the
drive pane. My notebook is another story. Once the drive
is placed in the USB port, Windows reports the drive via
the default tone, but FAILS to add this drive in either
My Computer or in Windows Explorer.

How can I get my XP Pro on my notebook to recognise the
Jumpdrive the same way the home system does?

Many Thanks

I have the exact same problem--have you found any
solutions?

Thanks,

Andrew

You probably need either a USB 2 connection (does your desktop and
notebook support USB 2)? Is SP1 installed on both Desktop and
Notebook? Maybe the jump drive requires more power than the notebook
can give it?
