I am having a time trying to install upgrade to a USB 2.0 and
IEEE1394a combo card. (Ali driven).
Everytime I have installed this card, my machine posts but
stalls booting into windows xp as soon as I remove it, it
boots just fine. My motherboard is an MSI 6373 and came with USB
1.1

Thanks for the link.

Have you tried using Microstar International's Live Update utility
to get current BIOS and mainboard drivers?

For people who know more about USB and FireWire add-in cards, you
might want to tell what card you are talking about.

Thank you so much for your input! :)

I have tried to flash this bios before with horrible results and I hate to
say that I am trying every option NOT to do it again.

MSI Live Update
Not working at the moment, but it's the first link on that page.

How about the mainboard/chipset drivers?
