i have AMD Duron with matsonic 8137C motherboard. on-board USB is 1.1 so I
bought pci to USB 2.0 card. when i installed it my 56k US robotics mode,
stops functioning and my MSI tv-tuner card is behaving weird. i installed SP1
so drivers are ok.
what can i do please?
thanks

sp1 has little to do with drivers, other than you might require updated
drivers to function with sp1
Visit mobo site and check for updated drivers, though it could also be a
problem with shared resources

first, thanks for replying.
mobo site does not exist anymore bec. it's too old an low budget so...
i think it might be interrupt problem but i don't know how to solve it.
i tried to change pci slot for usb card but on other free one it doesn't
work at all.

Perhaps the motherboard is not capable of handling the ammount of
interupts caused by those three devices combined.

You should still be able to install the chipset drivers. These are usually
made by larger companies that "license" them to motherboard manufacturers.

Download and install BelArc advisor. This would tell you which chipset your
motherboard would be using. Then, you will head over to the chipset
manufacturer's web site and get the drivers.

BTW: Most AMD motherboards use VIA or nVidia chipset drivers.
