usb 2.0

i have recently changed a usb 1.0 card for a usb 2.0 card. the problem is my
computer still recognises it as a usb 1.0 even tho i have loaded drivers. i
am running xp with sp2
help please

Did you uninstall the old drivers in device manager before removing the USB
1 card.?? Is the hardware you are plugging into the USB 2 card support USB
2.0.

Remove all USB drivers from the Device Manager (Control Panel->System
Properties->Hardware->Device Manager). Then reboot.
