Hi.

Running XP home with SP1 & 2 installed

Strange one this (to me anyway) I had my iPod connected on a USB
2.0/firewire PCI card and all was working fine. Now it only works as USB 1.
In device and I get a windows advice/nag screen telling me if I plug it into
one of the USB 2.0 slots it will work faster. The USB 2.0 driver seems to
have gone. I have tried to reinstall it but am told by the install disc that
XP users should use the one with SP1. I have SP1 & 2 installed and yet I'm
get the message "can't find driver"

I'm at a loss - any ideas most welcome

Thanks

In Device Manager if you uninstall the USB controllers, on reboot XP should
reinstall the drivers automatically. Is this the procedure you followed?

Yes, tried that without any luck
