USB 2.0 Problems

I have USB 2.0 on my laptop. The problem is that when I'm plugging my
USB 2.0 devices into the USB port, I get the message window saying,
"This USB device can perform faster if you connect it to a HI-Speed
USB 2.0 port!" What the heck is going on? Aren't all of my ports
supposed to be 2.0?

That message normally means you are plugging a USB 2 compatible device
into a USB 1 port.
Try using a different USB port and see if you get the same problem.
Check your laptop specs.

Ask the laptop manufacturer tech support. Also some BIOS support
switching 1.1 and 2.0
