USB 2.0 PCMCIA Card

Chris W.

Hi All,

I've been trying to get my new NEC 4 port USB 2.0 PCMCIA
card to work. I can't for the life of me get it to run.
It shows up as a "Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host
Controller". It says it's working. But no go on any USB
peripherals.

Any thoughts? I've loaded the drivers that came with the
card as well, but it doesn't seem to help.

Thanks

Hello

Try remving the drivers that you installed and also
remove the card. Go to the maker of that product website
and see if they are any updated drivers for it.

Once you reboot and the system comes back up, insert the
card and when prompted for driver see if XP will find the
drivers, if not you could try the ones that you downloaded
provided you found some.
