Do anyone know of a way to copy a file with a URL by using Excel?

I have a system that have a WEB based filing area for work files. The
URL to these files can be "pasted" to a Excel Spreadsheet, But HOW can
I download/copy the files to a different are, like local on my C:
drive???

You can use a workbooks open macro. You might like this idea.
right click on the field of the web site you desire>select import to
microsoft excel> you will probably have to then select the top left of the
result in your excel workbook worksheet>data>external data>edit>select the
tables you want>import.

Thanks Don, But I have a Excel spreadsheet with hundreds of URL
adresses on files (DWG, Doc, XLS, etc).
What I want to do is to copy the Files to my local drive "From" the URL
adress, so that I can file, sort organize the "native files" on my
local drive, but not mess around with the files on the server.
