Hi

If that file isn't on your system - put the XP CD into the cd drive and type the following from Start>Run:

expand X:\i386\urlmon.dl_ %systemroot%\system32\urlmon.dll - where X is the letter of your cd drive. Please note the space between the _ and %.

Please post back if you get any error messages

No luck, any other ideas?

Hi

Did you get any error messages when you tried that command? If it didn't work, that could imply that the file is already on your system.

Try this:

Start>Run - then type in "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" - without the quotes. Please note the space between the 2 and u.

Did Will's suggestion help? Hope so. If not (found on the web):

One last thing for now...lets try to use system file checker by
clicking start >> run >> type cmd click ok >> type sfc /scannow
