Urgent: upgrade from trial XP Pro version

Do you know if I will lose all my build configurations if
I install a 120-day free trial version and then install
the license key of a fully licensed version if I decide to
keep the XP Pro version??? THANKS!

One cannot just install a new Product Key with a trial version
of XP. You'll have to purchase a "full version" of XP Pro, then perform
a "repair install" using the new XP CD and Product Key.

A "repair install" will retain your programs & files, if performed correctly.

Tim;
Upgrading to the full licensed version from the trial version should
leave all data intact.
Back-up important data just in case.
However if the trial is Windows XP Pro, you can not go to Windows XP
Home, you need to go to Pro or perform a Clean Installation of Home
destroying all data.
