Hi all,

Under pressure here at work.....Currently created a macro by recording and
put a password lock on it so no one else could mess with it. now I need to
edited it but cannot as the edit button is not available.

How do I opened up the macro with a password. I have tried Alt F8 and the
edit button won't work and I have tried Alt + F11 and cannot find the macro
in the respective folder.

This is extremely urgent as my boss needs to find out why the macro is not
working properly.

Extremely grateful,

Richie

With your workbook open hit Alt + F11 then CTRL + r

Select your workbook/project and click on the "+" to expand.

You will get the password dialog.

Type in your password to open.

Double-click on the module to open and you can edit the macro.
