**URGENT** just got DSL,no website would appear & "search" won't

**URGENT**Please help me,this is urgent.We just got DSL recently,but the i
explorer won't let any website open,only that: cannot find server ...tha page
cannot be displayed .And the computer itself has a problem too,when using
search(already on the computer) and choosing "all files and folders" ,the
search program just shuts down,i'm trying to use the search to locate some
files that may be causing damage.Please i'm worried the pc will be damaged,so
please help me.

This might get you back online.

Click Start, Run, type:

netsh winsock reset

Press Enter key

Restart the system

Do you have SP2? Do you have an updated a/v (antivirus) program?
Schedule a bootscan after the above, and see if anything is found.
