URGENT: Interview questions - MS ACCESS

Hi all,
I have a job interview very soon for an analyst job within a financial
company (ENTRY LEVEL). they need strong MS access skills ("assessing
the core databases' anomalies and making corrections where needed") My
question is what kind of technical questions should I be expecting on
an interview that touches upon Access use.

help is very much appreciated!

thank you

well, that depends a lot on how much the interviewer knows about Access, or
perhaps how much whoever is "priming" the interviewer knows. (you'd be
surprised how many companies use Access to one degree or another, but
haven't much of a clue what they're doing.) and "assessing the core
databases' anomalies and making corrections where needed" could mean just
about anything - from table/relationship structures, to form/report/code
debugging, to cleaning up garbage data, etc. but if you really don't have
good Access skills, you're probably not going to be able to wing it - unless
the interviewer knows even less, and is not well-primed by someone else.
good luck with it.

That is guaranteed to be an answer to one of the questions. They
will say it's the best solution to the problem, which may or may not
actually apply to the example query they give you, so be ready.

Questions about normalization are also very likely.

If it were me, I'd ask how much experience the person has with
macros. The more they have, the more worried I would be.

My favorite question was... (and I only got asked once)

I ask you to make me a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich what do you do? I
got that contract so I guess I answered correctly!

My worst question was...

Can you get us up and running a week? I thanked her for her time and
suggested she get someone else. After they went thru a few people I got
that one and it took 6 months!
