Glitch

I have a Liteon LDW-451S with the latest firmware. If I try to burn a DVD
with DVD decrypter or Alcohol 120% I always get an error.
With the decrypter it states that the lead-in couldn't be
written(sectors 32-63) and with Alcohol it just states that there was
error with the writing procedure.
Anyone had this error or know the solution?
btw.I tried reinstalling the burning software and I was able to burn one
DVD but nor the comp or the PS2 could read the disc.

I'm afraid I don't know all of the details, but a disc formatted for use
on a PS2 would not be readable by a PC anyhow. Also, if you want the
PS2 to read "backups," you either need a swap disc or a mod chip.

The PS2 has a mod chip(Mars2),and I'm pretty exeperienced in PS2
hardware AND computers but this is the the first time I saw this
error.Actually I saw this same error about three months ago but it went
away when I reinstalled the burning software and ASPIs.
A disc formatted for PS2 is readable in a PC drive but you only see it
as a bunch of rather odd files with many different extensions.

Try Nero...
I've been using it successful with a lite-on burner.

Try different media.
I had no trouble with Sky or TDK DVD+R media.

Otherwise bring the DVD writer back where you bought it...

I'm already using Nero but I don't use it for burning games, all DVDs
burn fine with Nero except the PS2 games.
The media I'm using is either Traxdata and Verbatim.
