Hi guys,

I had the network working just fine. Two days ago, when I woke up, my main
machine (WinXP SP2) was freezed and the network dead. After many tests and
reboots, I finally got it to work again using netsh to "reset" the TCP/IP.

But UPnP is gone. I cannot see the router from my computer, looks like it
wasn't there. And I don't even know where to start looking...

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!

PS: the router and the network are working fine, is a "Windows problem"...

Carlos,

first thing I would check is whether the SSDP and UPnP services
are running. Check that in Control Panel, Administration,
Services.

Where are you missing the icon? Its appearance in the system
tray (lower right) depends on a setting, but it should always
appear among the network connections.
