Hi,
I just re-designed my web site, using CSS. I am using FP 2003. The current
site that is online was done with FP themes from FP 2000. Should I take
everything down from the remote server before uploading? I am not using a
bunch of the old files, namely a bunch of graphic files.
Thanks for your help.

The best option would to open the live/remote site in FP, go to Tools | Site Settings | Advanced and
enable viewing of hidden directories, then you can delete everything you can see in the web, with
the exception of the images and _private folders, for theses, just delete any content within them,
but not the folders.

Thank you, Tom, for responding. If I understand you correctly, I should just
delete the previous web site, except for the images and _private folders.
Will this mess up the FP extensions? I have been managing the site using FP
2003.

By following my suggestion, you will not destroy the FP extensions and it will ensure that only the
new content will be on the live/remote site instead have a possible mix of old and new content.

Thanks again, Tom!

I did as you told me, and it went off without a hitch! Working with CSS is
so much cleaner and faster than with the themes! Here's the link to the
"new" site: www.reelskillstore.com
