uploading pics to the web

i want to use pictures on my eBay listings and they refer to the URL of the pics. they speak of "hosting the pics" online at a web site. apparently software is needed to upload the pics. does anyone know if xp pro has such software? eBay provides it, but temporarily and eventually at a price i would assume. does anyone here have experience uploading pics like this? i need a mentor, lol.

Does your ISP provide you with web space? You can setup your own URL with your images
and link them to your eBay listing. You need a ftp, there are free ones available.
