I'm not sure if this is a dotnet question. You might have better luck in a
video/DVD newsgroup.
BUT ... as I have bumped into your question and have a partial answer ...
I've recently copied entire DVDs from Yes Video on an XP system using Roxio
Easy Media Creator 7.5 - I think that might be sort of old but it did the
job.
Also, recently I heard a presentation on Pinnacle Studio and I asked
specifically about the filetypes on the DVDs from Yes Video and was told
that Pinnacle Studio can work with them.
I suspect that you are asking if there is some built-in feature of Vista
which will do what you want and I don't know the answer to that question.
There is something called Windows Movie Maker (free I am pretty sure), you
might look into that.
