this may not be the neccessary question to post in this kinda newsgroup, but
i am just wondering, i want to be able to put my music work on the internet
so people can download it for free, i dont mean like a website. i mean like
limewire, so when people type my dj name in my songs will come up any idea
how i do this, i tried putting them in my shared music directory in
limewire, and when i type my name in nothing shows up, i take it u have to
pay to do this like get some kinda bandwith with a host,?

No, we will not help you pirate music. What you're asking to do is illegal
unless you're only sharing music in the public domain or specifically
released for Internet dissemination.

Take a deep breath Ricky, he wants to make his own work available, not
anybody else's.

Baloo, you say you don't want a website, but why not? It's the obvious
solution, one that everybody knows how to use. The only other thing I
can think of would be to put your MP3 files on an FTP server. Nearly
everybody would access that with a web browser anyway, and you'd lose
the chance to put commentary - like liner notes - around the download
links.
