can anyone shed any light on the
"Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this
page: ..."
problem?
I've just moved the default website across to another
folder (on server) but one or two pages didn't transfer so
well, and MS knowledgeBase is telling me it's because I
have an apache server - I'm using a WIN2K Server!
Help!

Thanks
Fred King

The only way to transfer a FP SE site is to publish it to a FP SE host location
How did you move the site

Then the FP SE know nothing about it
Open the new site under FP and run a tools recalculate hyperlinks (plus open the SE admin and run a health check / repair of the
SE), then in FP View reports - component errors to see what's still broken

Yup - done all of those things, but it's the only page
that FP reports as being a broken hyperlink. Another page
which is broken it does not report :'Customise Homepage
Layout' (homechge.htm) which goes straight to
the 'error.htm' page instead.
Well it confused me, Does it sound like something you have
heard of?
TIA...

You can, but not sure it would help since you have a link problem

No I think you're right there.
I made a sub-web from the original site, and the file
upload page works perfectly there, but I tried copying the
html, or the FP file, and also copying the files over from
sub-web to parent folder in explorer.exe but to no avail.

Any other ideas ? Or am I fighting a losing battle here?
....hmmm.. it's an MS product... of course it's a losing
battle!!

Cheers

Fred.
