Upgrading XPe from SP1 to SP2

Is it possible to upgrade a deployed XPe w/ SP1 configuration to SP2
without having to re-image the machine? We have hundreds of deployed
systems that are currently running XPe SP1. Is there a way to update
these systems to SP2 without rebuilding the OS configuration in Target
Designer and redeploying the new images?

The windows sustained engineering team is investigating this capability now,
of allowing a device in the field to upgrade. I don't know the status, check
with Jon Fincher at his blog: http://xpeqfe.blogspot.com/ , he owns
sustained engineering for XPe.
