It appears that I have come across an unlicenseable copy of XP Pro. I am
going to purchase a Legitimate one but need to know if I can buy the OE
version, the Full retail one or the Upgrade. I did have ME before I tried
this copy (was licensed). Any info would be great!
Thanks,
Mike

You need to purchase and use a _legitimate_ full OEM or Retail (or
an Upgrade CD might work, if you have an earlier, qualifying OS) copy of
WinXP Pro to perform a repair (a.k.a. in-place upgrade) installation,
using the new CD and Product Key.
