i need to know if it is possible to upgrade from windows
ME to windows XP pro using the full version software or do
i have to wipe the drive

Yes, the full version can do an upgrade as well as a clean
installation.

But be careful. The OEM version, which many people confuse with
the full version, can *not* do an upgrade.
