Upgrading to XP Pro Problem

Trying to upgrade from XP Home to XP pro. In middle of
upgrade get error message "bad_pooler_caller" I restarted
computer as error message suggested and try upgrading
again, get same error message. Try to go to safe mode to
uninstall XP pro and cannot get out of XP Pro install.

HELP!!!

If your data is backed up, I would recommend running XP Pro setup again,
this choose clean install, or create a new partition and install XP Pro on
it during the DOS setup portion of installation.

The copy the files over from the XP Home partition since both probably share
a NTFS Partition.
