hi there. when I purchased MS Office a couple of months ago it included Word,
Excel and PPT but no Outlook. As an existing & registered Office owner can I
just do a simple upgrade to Outlook from the Microsoft site or do I have to
buy a whole new Outlook pack from somehwere? thanks regards

Sounds like you bought a copy of Office 2007 Home & Student which doesn't
include Outlook nor a license for it.
You can still buy Outlook as a separate product of course.

You'll need to buy outlook but note that some features won't work unless you
get outlook as part of the office suite. See
http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/standalone.htm for some of the
missing features.
