Assuming installed on same PC you 'export' mail to OL from OE, not import.
That way the modified dates dont change, if you import they are all set to
the import date.

You can import the accounts

I'm getting a different computer, so I should be able to backup the data
and restore the data on the other computer without any problems correct?

thanks

Yes. You need to backup your OE data on the old, and restore it to OE on the
new. Then do the export to Outlook.Have a look here:

You're welcome!

One other quick question. I transfered the data to Outlook Express 2003 to
make sure I had all of the data. Now, when I install Outlook 2003, I still
need to setup the POP3 server so I can use Outlook and then I won't need to
use Outlook Express? Is that correct?

thanks
