Upgrading to FrontPage 2003

Dennis D.

I have been upgrading FrontPage since it came out. So I have a complete
version followed by about 4 upgrades until 2002 (not digging them out right
now).

What I have been doing when installing a new operating system or after
reformatting a main drive is to begin the install from scratch and run
through the whole upgrade process.

Does anyone know if I can start the installation of FP 2003 upgrade at a
later stage, and still NOT lose required dll's or other program components
in the process?

Could I, for example, begin with the 2003 disk and use the 2002 disk as a
previous install requirement?

I rent space from a webhosting company and publish to their servers.

Yes.

But I believe you will have to insert the CD for the 1st Full version you own
- if FP2000 was an upgrade from full FP98, insert the FP98 CD
FP2003 allows upgrades all the way back to FP97

Not so. All that is needed is the last version you have (so long as it
qualifies) regardless of whether it was an upgrade version or not.
