Upgrading MB/CPU on an XP Pro Machine

I have purchased XP home for a system I am building. I have a Duron 650 and motherboard that
I can use until I can afford the new MB/CPU of my dreams. I would like to get my installs done an
clear up any issues while I'm waiting. If I install XP and then change out the MB and CPU will that
require reinstall of everything, a new activation/registration, or nothing at all? Please Email if possible.
Thanks

If it's a OEM you will have to do a clean install when
you upgrade, probably because of the big diffrence in
what you have now and what you'll be going to.

If it's a retail version you can do a repair install on
the new hardware.

Either case will cause you to re-activate, no big deal,
it will do it online or 5 min call.
